Process
1. : The steel surface is thoroughly cleaned to removeany contaminants.
2. : The cleaned surface is rinsed to remove any cleaningagents.
3. : The steel is immersed in azinc phosphate solution, typically at a temperature of around 50-75C. Thiscauses a chemical reaction that forms a layer of zinc phosphate on the surface.
4. : The phosphated surface is rinsed again to remove anyresidual chemicals.
5. : The surface is often sealed with oil or anotherprotective coating to enhance corrosion resistance.
· : Provides excellentprotection against rust and corrosion.
· : Enhances the adhesion of subsequent coatings orpaints.
· : Improves the wearresistance of the treated surface.
· : Used for enginecomponents, gears, and other parts that require high wear resistance.
· : Applied to weaponsand ammunition for corrosion protection.
· Machinery: Used in various machinery parts to improvedurability and performance
